How We Prepare to Visit
After submitting the below Request Form, our staff will reach out to you by phone to gather key details for the visit, including...

Visit setting (activity room, classroom, private room, outdoors)

Support amenities (ample number of chairs, carpet)

Timing sequence (one room, multiple buildings, individual visits, group visit, multiple groups)

Who at your facility or organization can serve as a 'site escort'

Access requirements (forms, identification badges, check-in)

Safety and security (e.g., door alarms between facility wings)

For longer visits: break rooms or outdoor access for handlers and dogs to take a quick break if needed
This information helps us determine what we need to do, and what our volunteers can expect. Our goal: to enable everyone to have as much quality time with the dog(s) as possible.
